I enjoy collecting old bird nests from around the place and using them for decorations. I guess you could call that "shopping the yard?" I recently added some more to my collection and took some pictures. this one sits in a bird cage that was left here when we moved. the little egg is a teeny tiny one from our chickens that I thought was too cute and saved. and the bird came from dollar tree.
I've been adding some things to the old door that sits in front of our shed too.

The blue egg is a plastic easter egg I painted, and the one peaking out of the other nest is a regular size chicken egg minus the insides. I also 'shopped the yard' for the feathers.

~.~.~.~.~.~ I took a trip down Memory Lane, collecting pictures to use in a collage of our family over approximately 15 years. Talk about a flood of memories.
I just want to pinch all those sweet little "same song, next verse" munchkin's cheeks...
I knew who was who, but Steve said he couldn't tell them apart.... ~.~.~.~.~.~ And I came across this card in my searchings. It may have been my first Mother's Day card since Darren is the only one that "signed" it.
I know everyone says it, but seriously where does the time go? In the midst of diapers and toddlers, it seems to go on forever. But somehow I blinked and now teenagers are showing up around here. Makes me think of the Golden Book "Where Did the Baby Go?" Be Blessed~ Hug Someone You Love Today~ |
